Workmanship Warranty
Terms and Conditions

At Kariong Automotive, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and strive to provide excellent automotive services & repair. We offer the following workmanship warranty terms to our customers:

 

1. Warranty Coverage:

  • We provide a 6-month/ 10,000 km (or equivalent) warranty on workmanship performed by our technicians.
  • This warranty covers defects in the repair work carried out by Kariong Automotive, including labour and installation.

 

2. Warranty Limitations:

  • Our workmanship warranty does not cover parts or components that are subject to separate manufacturer warranties. In such cases, we will assist you in contacting the relevant manufacturer for warranty claims.
  • The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs or modifications.

 

3. Warranty Claim Process:

  • To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase or invoice indicating the repair work performed by Kariong Automotive.
  • You must notify us promptly of any warranty claim and bring the vehicle to our premises for inspection and assessment.
  • We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle and determine whether the warranty claim is valid and covered under our workmanship warranty.
  • If the claim is deemed valid, we will repair or replace the defective workmanship at reduced or no additional cost to you, subject to the warranty limitations mentioned above.

 

4. Exclusions:

  • Our workmanship warranty does not cover pre-existing conditions or issues unrelated to the repair work performed by Kariong Automotive.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair work or the use of your vehicle.

 

5. Warranty Transferability:

  • Our workmanship warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer who had the repair work performed at Kariong Automotive.

 

6. Limitation of Liability:

  • Our liability under this workmanship warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective workmanship as described above. We are not liable for any additional costs or damages incurred.

 

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

  • These workmanship warranty terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of NSW, Australia where Kariong Automotive operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
